Case Buffalo Trapper Knife with Southwest Ceramic Pot, Navajo Artwork

This is a Case model 6254 stainless steel trapper, customized by Navajo artist J Benally. The knife features wood and turquoise inlays of a buffalo herd.

The reverse is the standard Case jigged bone or Delrin. It is unused and factory clean. However, there is some oxidation from storage on bolster, springs, and ricasso. Due to this, I have priced it below similar items. The display quality is not significantly affected. The ceramic pot is hand painted. It features a buffalo on the top, and mountainscapes on the side. A striking piece for knife or native art collectors, and why not both? The item "Case Buffalo Trapper Knife with Southwest Ceramic Pot, Navajo Artwork" is in sale since Tuesday, February 16, 2021.
