Three watercolours of coastal and lakeside buildings from the artist's sketchbook with details picked out in pen and gouache. The back of the largest painting is inscribed with the name of the owner of the house. From a large collection of oils and watercolours by the British artist John Case. John Case was a British artist based in Bristol, known for his oil and watercolour landscapes. Case first became interested in photography, but quickly developed a passion for painting.
He joined Twyford Art Club in Shirehampton and then the Clifton Arts Club. Case appeared on TV painting scenes of Bristol and became an expert in modern gadgetry, frequently used his iPad for sketch painting.
